Welcome to my blog on Salobreña, the cutest little town on the Medeterranean Sea.  In the past, I have done countless searches over the internet for photos, and good information on Salobreña, unfortunately most of the sites that I encountered were advertising sites, and most just keep recycling the same old photos.

My goal is to add new photos every day that I have taken myself, as well as keep you posted on what’s what here in paradise.  Why not come for a visit, we are just one hour south of Granada by car, and about an hour fifteen from Malaga.  It is a gorgeous little town located on the coast between the sea and mountains. I came to this town just over 7 years ago on what was supposed to be a 3 day stopover. I never left, it was love at first site.

  2. I just may take you up on that! My camera just asked me if he could go…

What’s the best time of year to visit Salobrena without a million tourist but still have good weather?

I’ve always wanted to visit a real paradise.

  3. June, Sept and Oct are fantastic here. The weather is gorgeous, and the main bulk of the tourist come 1jul and leave Sept 1st.. We have a Feria on Oct12, that is with the horse, decorated wagons. The statue of the virgin is escorted to the beach. On or about the 24th of June, we have the festival of San Juan.. that is where we light the giant bonfires on the beach, individuals can have fires on the beach, there is music, and everyone goes down to the beach at night. You are supposed to write down your wishes on paper, throw them in the fire, and then take a cleansing dip in the sea. Come for either the Oct festival or San Juan.. great photo ops.. If you need help with accommodation let me know, it’s what I do.. I can get you cheap cheap cheap or anything up to a villa.
    Hope to see you here!!
