Second Hand Life.
We have the most extraordinarily beautiful old building that is in terrifically bad shape, but good enough still to house the town’s only true charity shop. It’s history is a grand one, it once was the home of a member of the Aristocracy, when there was a time when there was an Aristocracy in this town. Maybe money is quieter these days. Coveting not allowed.
Anyway, I spent some time there today, and got some very interesting shots. When you come to Salobreña, you must go to this shop, if for no other reason than to look at this house and see what it must have been like in the day. Enjoy!

The Front Door

Looking down the stairs. Look at those ceramic tiles.

Just inside the door.

You name it.

You can have a lampshade or a hat.

One of at least 19 rooms on the second floor.

That's hand painted trim throughout the house.

This has a very 70's feel to me

Yeah Baby, do I make you horny..Yeah baby. Oh behave.

Isn't this a fabulous dress. The lining is like a heavy satin moleskin almost.

Because it's worth another look.

Bathroom, massive.

That 70's Reno

I think I prefer the white.

This is an old hand drawn lamp shade.

Bannister details.

Look at that ceiling.

I bought this.

Drawers become shelves.

Somewhere over the rainbow
And there is more, but you have to come see the rest for yourself.

Great place and pics, can’t wait to check it out myself, whenever that will be , due to those extreme airfares from Oslo this summer… Looking forward to sharing a couple of cold ones with you ,if we make it this summer. Lots of love from the-mort.
