It’s been a bit chilly here lately, a few rainy days and cold mornings. Never mind, it’s Christmas and the weather is not going to stop us from enjoying what the season has to offer. We even enjoy sitting in cafes in the rain. The carousel has been set up and the wind up to Christmas has begun.
Churros are breakfast favorite here, they are a non sweet deep-fried dough that are dipped in extra thick sweet chocolate. They are made of choux pastry that is squeezed from a piping bag into a swirling cauldron of hot oil. This makes a big spiral of the deep-fried pasty which is then cut with scissors and bagged for take away or served alongside thick creamy chocolate in a cup for dipping. Taza de Chocolate.

You will have to indulge me, I just love the colors in these carousels. I am drawn like a moth to the flame.

I want to see you sitting on a horsie Marty!
