I found these pretty little flowers on the side of the road yesterday while on my now, daily walk through the countryside here.  Indeed when I first saw them, they just looked like white fluff.  It was not until I got home and downloaded the photos that I saw just how pretty they were.

I had to run an errand this evening up the Monte de Los Almendros, where for those of you that don’t know, are where many of the luxury villas in the area are.  The name Monte de Los Almendros means mountain of the almonds, or almond mountain.  It is named this because of the many almond trees up there.  Anyway, these lovely flowers caught my eye as I was scootering on by this evening and I just had to stop.
