The cutely decorated trailers are normally used for hauling fruit from the fields to the co-ops.

That’s right, it’s all happening this weekend,  starting with a bank holiday here in Salobreña tomorrow Friday the 7th of October.  On Sunday, you should be on the streets to see the procession at 11am.  Most of the activities will be taking place at the Peñon end of the beach, so be sure to get there early to ensure a good seat or place to stand because be forewarned, EVERYBODY will be at the beach for this annual party to pay homage to our Patron Saint Rosario.  A complete list of events will be posted later today, so be sure to check back.  Alternatively, if you are local, you can pick up a program at the tourist office.
