Yes, it is raining again.. I wonder how many times I have used the word rain in the last 3 month.. oh well..onto bigger and dryer things.. I took some shots this week.. the photos on the beach where you see clear blue skies were captured  last Saturday,  it was an absolutely glorious day.  The rest of the photos were taken throughout the week.  Enjoy!

Just a quick note for those living here or visiting shortly.  Today the 13th of Feb at the auditorium there is a live Children’s  Theatre program scheduled for 7pm, entry fee is 3 euros.  On the 19th there is hip hop and funk blues planned at the Auditorium, entrance is free.   On the 20th there  is a concert by  Thalia B, again at the Auditorium.  This is a strange mixture of burlesque, hiphop, blues and God knows what ever else..

For the sports enthusiasts out there, there is an Exhibition of Rhythmic Gymnastics on the 26th of Feb at the Sports Complex, and on the 27th there is a Karate and Aerobic dance movements.

Yes indeed. More snow on the hills behind Motril. As some of you know, the weather of late has not been that good. I am of course getting this information second hand from the better half who is giving me daily reports on the weather and of course on the movement of my cats… I miss them, what can I say. Anyway, this picture was taken on the weekend by Heloise Nolan, who runs rentcostatropical.com. One of the longest running holiday rental businesses on the coast. If you are interested in renting, you can also go to my blog roll and find her there. This picture was taken from a balcony in the center of Motril.

This lovely picture was sent in by James at Lingwoods Inmobilaria.   One of the longest operating real estate offices in the area it has an excellent reputation amongst those who have sold or bought properties through the agency.  I highly recommend them if you are looking for a house in the area.

Anyway, James sent me this photo of the first snows on the mountains.  He also advises that he believes that opening day for the ski season has been moved up, so that is indeed good news.

For more information or if you are looking for a house in the area, check out their website at
